How Can I Help My Park?

There are many ways to help and support the improvement efforts at Brentwood Park. If we all pull together and do our small part, we can ensure that Brentwood Park remains a lively and lovely neighborhood park for generations to come.

• With Your Time

The leadership team is always looking for people with fresh energy and enthusiasm. If you have an idea for a project, or want to help organize and oversee current efforts, let’s meet for coffee and make some plans.

Or perhaps you simply like getting your hands dirty and breaking a healthy sweat? Come out and join us for our twice yearly park workdays in March and November. When needed, we also plan informal workdays for smaller projects. When you see the call for volunteers, give us an RSVP and bring your tools!

• With Your Talent

Planning projects and working in the park is fun, but we also have behind-the-scenes needs, such as graphic design, fundraising, web hosting, and other administrative tasks. This work is equally important to keep us productive and looking like pros.

• With a Check

Make tax-deductible donation checks payable to Austin Parks Foundation with “Brentwood Park, FO” in the memo line, and mail it to the Austin Parks Foundation, P. O. Box 300369, Austin, TX 78703.

• With a Credit/Debit Card

Go to Violet Crown Community Works, make a donation through the link at the bottom of the page, and shoot an email to friendsofbrentwoodpark@gmail.com so that we can ask VCCW to earmark the donation for park projects.
